GoldMeet

FAQ

What is GoldMeet?

GoldMeet is a peer-to-peer matching service for used gold in India. A seller and a buyer agree a price, then meet at a jeweller or bank that can test karat and weight. GoldMeet does not buy gold, does not store gold, and does not hold INR in escrow.

How is GoldMeet fair price calculated?

Fair metal value in INR = today's city rate for that karat (quoted per 10 grams) × weight in grams ÷ 10. Karats on the board are 24K, 22K, and 18K. Making charges, stones, and hallmark fees are excluded. Noida uses the same metal board as Delhi NCR.

How do I sell used gold in Noida without a cash-for-gold shop?

List the piece on GoldMeet. A private buyer is matched. You meet at a staffed jeweller in Sector 18, Atta Market, or Greater Noida. Test karat and weight at the shop, then pay how you both agree. GoldMeet is not a cash-for-gold counter.

How do I sell used gold in Delhi?

Same P2P flow. Typical public meeting belts are Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh jewellers or a bank branch with CCTV. Never a private home.

What is a fair 22K used gold rate in India?

Use the city 22K rate per 10 grams × weight in grams ÷ 10. That is metal value only — no making charges. Noida uses the Delhi NCR board.

Do you buy gold in Noida or Delhi?

No. GoldMeet is not a cash-for-gold shop, not a pawn broker, and not a jeweller. Two private parties meet in a public shop in Noida, Greater Noida, or Delhi.

Where do people meet in Noida?

At a staffed jewellery shop or bank — typically Sector 18, Atta Market, or Greater Noida — never a private home. The app ranks places by travel for both people, not by one person's house.

Is my home address shown?

No. Exact home is hidden. After both confirm a venue you only see distance to that shop.

Which cities does GoldMeet cover?

Launch operations: Mumbai plus Delhi NCR (Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida). Rate board also lists Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Surat.

Is large cash allowed?

Follow current Indian cash and PMLA rules. Prefer bank transfer. GoldMeet does not escrow.

What is HUID?

HUID is the Hallmark Unique ID stamped on hallmarked jewellery in India. You may list it. The buyer should still test metal at the meeting shop.
